Gerald Hayo
Board Member
I am a Human Rights activist who is passionate about leadership and governance.
With over eight years of experience in activism including; grassroot organizing for social change, human rights advocacy, project management, planning, administration, and governance, a former fellow at the Centre for Applied Human Rights at York University.
I look forward to a future where gender identity and sexual orientation are no longer obstacles to fully enjoying life in society, both in Kenya and globally.
Vivian Ouya
Board Member
A feminist activist, qualified lawyer, and the Co-founder of Feminists in Kenya, a national social movement of feminist activists working towards gender justice in Kenya.
Over the past decade, Vivian has focused on themes such as feminist foreign
policies, countering anti-rights movements, transnational feminisms, femicides in Kenya, the
human rights of Sexual and Gender Minorities, digital rights (including the impact of surveillance on feminist activists), and reclaiming bodily rights.
